About Me

Liz is a freelance writer, as well as a certified journeyman chef.  She combines her love of food with passion for writing, and both shine through in her personal style.

Liz was the food critic for the Coast for almost a decade, and has been published in numerous magazines. She has had two cookbooks published in the Flavours series from Formac: Fabulous Fishcakes and Summer Drinks, and has a third with Nimbus: South Shore Tastes.

Liz has traveled and eaten extensively throughout Canada, the US and Europe, and reads voraciously about food.  Her ever growing cookbook and food reference library contains over 400 volumes, she subscribes to several cooking magazines and has been published in numerous periodicals.

Along with freelancing food articles, Liz is currently working on something a little different--a handbook for beginners on raw food diets for pets.
